At Timber Ridge, we are passionate about advancing the Gospel of Christ, and while there are lots of great causes in our culture, we make no apologies for our belief that the local church is God’s hope for the world. There are many things we can give to this season, but as a church, we want to focus on giving to something that makes an eternal impact. And that’s the local church! This December, we’re inviting everyone connected with Timber Ridge Church to participate in our special Christmas offering called My Best Gift.

How Does This Work?
On Sunday, December 18th we will bring the My Best Gift offering as a part of each of our morning services. We’re providing special envelopes and encouraging everyone to come prepared to give on that day. This isn’t a year long commitment or some type of pledge. It’s a one time act of radical generosity to further the message of Jesus Christ.

We have an incredible opportunity and privilege to reach our community and beyond with the love of Christ. It’s a great mission God’s given us and it requires us to act in great faith.

What Is This Special Offering For?
At Timber Ridge Church, we regularly say that God has called us to reach the lost, the least, and the lonely. Our My Best Gift Christmas offering allows us to do that. 100% of our My Best Gift offering will go to the following projects in 2012: planting churches, global missions, and helping local families with real, practical needs. Through our church planting strategy, our global missions involvement in 2012, and by helping our neighbors in need right here in Stephenville & Erath County, we’ll be reaching the lost, the least, and the lonely with the hope and love of Jesus. It’s a big task. But it’s one we can accomplish together!
